Maddie has an awesome job at her friends private BDSM club as a hostess. She occasionally plays, more just demonstrations and never with the men in the club. She finds Chino attractive, but she can't get a read on him and doesn't really like him. Chino has eyes for Maddie. He doesn't really play at the club and she can't tell if he's more dom or sub. That is until they place a sexy little wager. From there it's game on, and he has no problem helping her with her Vlog and testing out sex toys.
I loved Maddie and her quick wit. She had a great personality and I just wanted to see her happy. Chino was dark and broody, and sexy as sin. I was amazed with what Cecelia did with this book. Of course you have the amazingly hot BDSM scenes. This author did an excellent job explaining the difference between BDSM and abuse, which was important with Chino's story. I loved the dynamic between the pair and was happy to finally see them letting go and taking their chances with one another. My only negative is where the book suddenly took the daddy/girl relationship turn. I'm not a huge fan and it came out of no where.
This is one of my favorite rockstar/BDSM series. Hard Rhythm is the third in the set, and while they can be read as stand alones, I highly recommend reading them in order as you'll get to know the characters a bit better. I enjoyed getting to know them more in their own book and reading about their backgrounds. This was one of those books that are so well written that you can't stop reading, and before you know it, you're at the end.
Single after 6 years in an unfilling relationship, Joss Oneil is ready for her first one night stand before she is off to the police academy. But when the man who gave her the best experience of her life turns out to be her new boss Lt. Maddox Hunt, she knows her career could be on the line.
Maddox Hunt is known for being one and done. But when his new rookie turns out to be his unforgettable one night from the bar, he knows it would be career suicide to have a repeat but sometimes rules are made to be broken.
This such an amazing read. Rarely do you find a heroine that is so down to earth and is able to stay true to herself. She wasn't shy or embarrassed about what she wanted from Maddox. Joss went into their arrangement knowing he was a heartbreaker and didn't wear blinders where he was concerned.
Maddox was a very sexy hot hero. The man made no apologies for his issues and was upfront about what he expected from Joss. This Dom gave his sub the dirty, filthy experiences that left Joss panting for more. But I loved seeing him out of his comfort zone when dealing with his growing feelings for Joss.
I hope Stacey Kennedy plans on making this into a series because I am dying to know more about Grey.
The second installment of the Endgame Series was just as riveting as the first. Warren had left us on the edge of our seats at the end of The Pawn and I needed to see what was in store for Avery and Gabriel. When I finally got my hands on The Knight, I couldn't put it down; it far exceeded my expectations.
The intricate web of deceit slowly starts to unravel and we are finally given answers to many of our questions. As we begin to learn more about Avery and her family, we are not only heartbroken for her but we are also left with even more questions. Her strength was tested further and we are once again shown her loyalty and resiliency. Both characters were continuously evolving and I'm absolutely loving the direction they are moving in, individually and as a couple.
I found myself highlighting so many beautiful and powerful passages. The intensity and rawness of these characters and their story was captivating. Warren, once again, leaves us waiting on bated breath for the conclusion of the series.
A Fairytale-esque type story, rich in detail and not light on the sexy.
Wren and Weston made an unlikely pair. A plain, ordinary girl, a self-proclaimed wallflower, an old-soul who just is anything but lavish and stand-out meets a sexy, wealthy, slightly mysterious man in Vegas. And this is case of not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Wren is uprooted from the only home she's known. She is in high school, has one best friend and a pretty unconventional mother to now she is living in a mansion, driving an expensive car and attending a private school. This change is a lot for one girl to handle and to make matters more complicated she is married to none other than the one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.
Weston had dreamed of normal and simplicity but was never given the chance at that. So when this girl makes more than an impression on him he does the spontaneous and crazy. This whole idea wasn't thought through very well and sometimes even the best of ideas are a disaster.
I have to say when I started this book and found out that our main character was just 18 I was a little skeptical. I tend not to like younger characters and have a hard time getting into their heads. But Wren is quite mature for her age and there were often times I forgot that she was just a high school senior. For her lack of worldly experience she doesn't come across as a child or someone that you don't end up feeling for. This story is told mostly in her POV and I found that I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got to see the world only a few times from Weston but the times we did were enough. There were times my soul hurt for him as his feelings were pretty palpable even through the eyes of Wren. This was a long, in-depth story of two people who attempt to come to terms with their new arrangement. The book really didn't lack for anything, there was a air of mystery that surrounded Weston, there was drama and a bit of angst, it was sexy and swoon-worthy, there were a cast of characters that added to the experience of the book, and even a bit of suspense.

Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.
Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes---or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire---maybe do exist.
Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk---even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . . .
